Born on 18/05/1976 at Sangli, Maharashtra. He completed his education till S.S.C. in Our Lady Nazareth High School, Bhayander, District-Thane and Graduation in Commerce from Shree Chinai College of Commerce and Economics, Andheri, Mumbai. He accomplished his LL.B Degree from Government Law College, Mumbai in the year 1999. He completed his LL.M from University of Mumbai and was an Awardee of 'Barrister Raja Bhonsale Award' for securing highest marks in 'Law of Crimes' in his LL.M.

After enrolling with Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa on 22/07/1999, he joined chambers of his father Late Shri. Dadasaheb B. Patil a Senior Practitioner at Thane District and Sessions Court, Thane and assisted him till May 2000. Later, he shifted his practice to High Court of Judicature at Bombay and became life member of the Advocates Association of Western India (A.A.W.I). He had joined chambers of Shri. Dilip B. Bhosale (Ex-Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court),however, Justice Bhosale (Retd) was soon elevated within 6 months of Justice Patil joining his chamber. He joined Chamber of Senior Counsel Shri Ashutosh A. Kumbhakoni, for a brief period of time. He later joined chamber of Shri. Anil C. Singh, the current Additional Solicitor General of India.

Was appointed as Senior Panel Counsel for Union of India and has represented various authorities like National Investigation Agency (N.I.A), Central Bureau of Investigation (C.B.I) and Directorate of Enforcement (E.D). Was also appointed as Additional Public Prosecutor for Union of India. He appeared on the Appellate as well as Original Side of Bombay High Court. He appeared in matters involving Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Service Law, PILs and litigation under various Central and State Acts.

He had argued several matters of prominent importance which includes challenge to the constitutional validity of various acts namely; The Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (UAPA Act), The Real Estate (Regulation And Development) Act, 2016 as applicable to Maharashtra (Maha RERA), The Securitisation And Reconstruction Of Financial Assets And Enforcement Of Security Interest Act, 2002 (SARFAESI Act), so also, the matter challenging the constitutional validity of Sec. 376EE of Indian Penal Code (I.P.C).

He had also argued several important matters including the Malegaon Bomb Blast case, Goa Bomb Blast case and Antelia Bomb Scare Case, matters under National Investigation Agency Act (NIA Act) and several other matters under The Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974 (COFEPOSA), The Narcotic Drugs And Psychotropic Substances, Act, 1985 (NDPS Act), The Arms Act, 1959 and The Maharashtra Control Of Organised Crime Act, 1999 (MCOC Act).

He has represented various Co-operative Banks, Multi State Co-operative Banks, Associations, private financial institutions, private entities and Companies on the civil side as well. He had a perfect equilibrium of practice on civil as well as criminal sides.

With an additional interest in academics, he was also a part time lecturer in Government Law College, Mumbai for about 2 years.

He has also delivered lectures on various topics of law in law colleges and seminars organized by Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, so also, has actively contributed to academics by giving lectures in various Bar Associations.

He is an avid reader and is fond of reading Biographies, Mythologies and Literature.
